As seen in the Hollywood Reporter

Hotel Artemis is filling a few final vacancies. The Jodie Foster-fronted thriller, which begins production Thursday, has added Atlanta breakout Brian Tyree Henry and American Crime Story grad Kenneth Choi to its registry.

Hotel Artemis is set in the near-future and takes place in an underground Los Angeles hospital, where the city’s sinister criminals are treated. The story follows the nurse (Foster) who runs the hospital as she discovers that one of her patients is actually there to assassinate another. The pic will film on location in Los Angeles.

Zachary Quinto, Jeff Goldblum, Sterling K. Brown, Jenny Slate, Charlie Day, Dave Bautista and Sofia Boutella are also set for the directorial debut of Drew Pearce, the scripter behind Iron Man 3 and Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation.

Marc Platt (La La Land) will produce alongside Adam Siegel for Marc Platt Productions. Simon and Stephen Cornwell will produce for The Ink Factory, which is also financing the project.

WME Global is handling U.S. rights, with Lionsgate handling international sales, which began at Berlin.

Henry, whose background in theater includes a turn in Broadway’s The Book of Mormon, is best known for his role as Paper Boi on the Donald Glover-led hit FX series Atlanta. He will next be seen in Matthew McConaughey-starrer White Boy Rick and is set for Steve McQueen’s heist movie Widows.

Choi recently played Judge Lance Ito on Ryan Murphy’s anthology series The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story on FX. He will next be seen in David Ayer’s splashy Netflix movie Bright and Sony’s Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Henry is repped by CAA, JWS and Jackoway Tyerman. Choi is repped by TalentWorks, Atlas Artists and Myman Greenspan.
